DarkNinjaXD No, they're not wild in particular. The legend has it the Arab Horse started from 5 mares that were the most loyal of the Prophet's mares. He took his herd of mares through the desert under the burning sun and when they reached a spring, he let them go drink water. Then, to test their loyalty, he called them back and only 5 came back to him- The Five ( Al Khamsa). So he bred only those 5 mares which gave us today the beautiful Purebred Arabian which has the distinct quality of being the most loyal breed in the world. It's true they have a huge personality and intelligence ( they're so called war horses who have proved themselves in wars over centuries, they gathered all the dust of the fallen empires on their hooves, seen empires fall under their hooves and helped mankind rise new empires). When not treated right, a horse so intelligent and with such personality and loyalty may become the most stubborn living being. :) I think God if created the Arabian Horse ( and horses in general ) so loyal, beautiful and to be so proud, and He also made the Human and put so much love for the Horse in his heart it means God made the Horse and the Human for each other to be forever bound together until the end of time. They have large jaws, nostrils and lungs so they can breath in more air even when they run under the burning sun in the desert- so they have more endurance than other breeds. They lack two ribs so they're backs are shorter hence more compact- so they can carry heavier loads and also change direction faster, just like the wind. They also lack a vertebra of their tail- so that they always carry their tail high when they run and looks so proud. They're the only breed that has black skin- so they can endure the sun easier than other breeds. So the Arabian Horse is loyal beyond any measure that he would follow his rider even in fire, agile like the wind, has more endurance than any horse breed, can manage when the food or water is scarce AND like other horse breeds (and a handful of other animals, just a few) is AWARE of his beauty therefore acts like it, carrying himself with pride and making a distinct appearance wherever sets foot.
